Zoe Sommerfield. Not even a teenager and yet more mature then some adults. (King.....) Zoe has probably saw more things then any child, or adult needs to see in a lifetime. One day Zoe and her mother returned home from a dayout only to find that Zoe's father and grandparents (from her fathers side) had been killed...murdered by vampires.

Her mother was oblivious to how bad the death scene was...but not Zoe. She saw the entire thing. Her father laying lifeless with blood around him, her grandparents...that alone was enough to tramatize any child. Zoe has then been acting as her mothers eyes, since she is blind and all. Zoe's mother is super smart so sometimes Zoe tends to forget her mother was blind, because there were times that her mother would know what she was going to do, right before she did it.

It was times like those now that Zoe missed the most. Not only did Zoe have to see her fathers lifeless body, she listened to the screams of her mother as she was murdered but not just any vampire...the gnome king.

Since then Zoe spends most of her time trying to fill her mothers shoes. Doing her best to stay on lookout for her family the Nightstalkers, and fighting her best to make sure what happened to her parents, doesn't happen to her friends.
